Natalie Merchant, the immense American artist and the most beautiful folk-rock voice is releasing her new album "Leave your sleep" on April 13th. This is her first original studio recording since the "House carpenter's daughter" in 2003 and she declares that this new album is her masterpiece nad has taken 5 years of effort. In a French magazine last week (Telemara), she told to the journalist that she even had to sell her house in Hawaii to finance the project. The release of "Leave your sleep" is obvioulsy one of the top artistic event of the beginning of 2010.
Furthermore, she will be on tour, with limited dates, from tomorrow (April 12th)on. She will pass by Paris on May 20th and I already have my tickets.
