Back to more travel oriented topics with a small break in Sweden.
Stockholm is a pleasant town, maybe a little austere but is
beautifully located in the heart of an archipelago of thousands of
islands and islets granite. It is also a maritime museum more or less
informal, but with numerous boats seaworthy and most famous among them
who made a career for as short a warship the Vasa. it has indeed sailed
for the first time and sank after a navigation of 1200m on 10 August
1628. A visit to the museum that houses the vessel refloated in the
early 60s is a must to visit the Swedish capital.
Today these islands used before vacation (summer houses or sommerhus) and sometimes it permanently resides in fine weather.
